Volunteers had a good time manning an Exeter Foodbank stand at the Respect Festival in Belmont Park over the weekend of 3rd & 4th of June. Even the drizzle and intermittent downpours couldn’t put a damper on our spirits!
Visitors to the stand tested their knowledge of food poverty in our quiz, whilst younger guests took part in craft activities on the theme of The Hungry Caterpillar and The Tiger Who Came to Tea. There were plenty of homemade cakes on offer too!
It was lovely to be part of such a positive event and meet so many other diverse groups at work in the local community. See you there next year!
